Alastair Nathan Cook born 25 December, 1984 in Gloucester) is an England cricketer, a left-handed batsman. Cook became the first Englishman to score six centuries before his 23rd birthday and on 27 July 2007 became the youngest England batsman to reach 1500 Test runs.
